Watch BE100 winners, Rosalind Canter and Jamakin Faer Trial, complete their cross country round at Richmond Horse Trials.

About Richmond Horse Trials

All of Richmond’s four cross country tracks were updated and refreshed by course designer and builder, Jamie Innes and Moray Nicholson. May 2017 saw a new bank complex and all competitors bar the BE90 riders ran over it at the September event. A brand new road crossing was built for the September event, which further enhanced the course and added a new dimension for all competitors.

All the courses were designed to educate and encourage the novice horse and rider.  The show jumping is run on an all-weather surface.

Richmond runs three prestigious classes at the September event alongside its busy timetable: one of the Mitsubishi Motors Grassroots BE100 qualifiers, and the KBIS four and five year old qualifiers attracting a wealth of exciting young horses aiming at the final at the Osberton Young Horse Championships held at the beginning of October.
